During June the WOW Tour travelled to the Australian Centre for the Moving Image ( ACMI ) in Federation Square, Melbourne as a feature of the Australian Perspectives program.  We would like to thank James Nolen from ACMI and the partnership of WIFT Victoria for this event, especially Sue Marriott, President, and Terri Dentry who is on the board of WIFT Victoria and is a key organiser of the Melbourne International Animation Festival and WIFT@MIAF.

At the opposite end of the spectrum to screening in a major capital city, the WOW Tour also travelled  to 6 remote locations during June and will travel to two more in July in the Roper Gulf Region.  The Festival was well received by the mainly indigenous communities of Borroloola, Mataranka, Ngukurr, Numbulwar, Barunga, Wugularr, Manyallaluk and Bulman.  The film WHEN COLIN MET JOYCE was particularly enjoyed at Mataranka which is the home community of one of the family members of the Clagues, the stars of the film.
